Step 1: Greeting and Personal Assessment
Upon entering our store, you will be promptly and warmly greeted by one of our associates who will then help you on an individual basis. Our staff takes deep pride in meeting the unique needs of every customer. We believe the first step is listening. We are dedicated to learning about You, and how we can meet the needs of your feet.
Whether you are a runner, walker or are just looking for a comfortable shoe to meet the demands of your daily living we are committed to helping you find the best shoe for you!
We will discuss your running, walking or daily routines, goals, past shoes, current shoes, injuries, anything that can help us provide you with the shoe that best fits your feet. After carefully learning about each customer’s personal history and goals we then perform a gait analysis. Together this data gives us the starting point for zeroing in on the shoe that will meet your needs.
We take great pride in our diverse staff of shoe associates. We are running and walking enthusiasts! We love to hear your stories and share our own. We thrive on passing along what we have learned about running, walking and the products we sell, so we can best assist you!
Step 2: Shoe Fitting and Try-On Process
Based on the information discovered in the personal history/assessment phase, we move to the shoe try-on phase. Our associates present the customer with appropriate choices from different manufacturers that meet their foot size, stability, and shape. We encourage customers to try on a variety of shoes. We educate the customer about the variety of manufacturers and how they make shoes for every foot-type. Most importantly, we encourage them to base their selection on the shoe that is the most comfortable to them while meeting their foot criteria.
Step 3: Selection and Purchase
Our sales associates are ready to spend as much time as needed to help you find the best shoe for you. FR employees do not work on commission, all store prices are standard retail. We sell our customers the best products to meet their needs, not the most expensive. Our customer service goes beyond the purchase and is evident in our flexible Return/Exchange policy. FR allows for a full refund if the shoes look new or an exchange if the shoes are worn or defective.
In addition to our shoe fitting process, our staff provides the same level knowledge and customer service on all other store items: apparel, over-the-counter insoles, socks and running accessories.
